Dolly Wink Eyeshadow (Number 01 - Brown)

Today, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Dolly Wink Eyeshadow Palette @ Tampines Mall's Watson! I just couldn't resist the urge and waiting time, so I just grabbed it off the rack (last 3!) and went to the cashier.

The packaging looks amazing! Although that is probably also one of the reasons why it is so expensive for a drugstore brand. But I'm a sucker for cute packagings, so I think I'm willing to pay the price. And Tsubasa looks amazing!

As I undid the packaging, which I have to admit was pretty difficult, the magic unfolds!

It's like a little pocket book with Tsubasa's photo, as well as a little "how-to-use" manual. Very cute!

Despite all the amazing packaging, the make-up product itself doesn't look very awesome.

It looks like a cheap knock-off from Anna Sui, and I do hope they will change the packaging sometime down the road. But it's rather compact and can fit easily in my make-up pouch, so I guess I'm okay with it.

The product itself:

*Please note that actual product is much more darker. My flash is working overtime.

The applicator is crappy and I have a feeling I'll just toss it in the trash and never touch it again. I did read somewhere that they say they will be changing it, I do hope it's true cause that's good news!

I'm all tired and exhausted from my exams, and my eyes hurt from a lack of sleep, so I decided not to try it out on my eyes right away. The powder feels silky, and glides easily on my skin.

One swab on my skin to test out it's intensity. Not bad, considering that my skin tone is actually super dark. And what's a review without a water test?

After 2 flushes of water under my tap...

It did fade a little, but it's still visible. Unless you sweat as much as a running tap, this product should work fine on you (:

I can't say much about this product as I haven't tried it out yet, so will be re-writing a more detailed review in time to come!

Korean Haul (from some time ago)

I'm very excited that my Korean products have finally arrived! I bought all of them at:
iheartkoreanbeauty.blogspot.com/
The service was incredible! I have never visited a blogshop with a nicer seller than her. She replies quickly, is able to provide any details of her products, answered my questions patiently, and was really conscientious when mailing out the items (she takes pictures of the parcels, registered postage deetails, and the receipt) ^_^

Here's a picture of what I've got:

A summary of the awesome loots!

#1 - Holika Holika Egg Soap!

It's so cute that it came with an egg carton!

Looks like real eggs!

#2 Innisfree Trouble Care BB Cream SPF 27 PA

Looks so chic! I dig the flora designs!

It has a buffer applicator! Love it to the max :D So much cleaner as compared to a normal BB cream tube! ^_^

#3 Tony Moly Mini Lip Tint

It's a really tiny bottle, perfect fit into small pouches!

Last but not least... #4Tony Moly Simply Slim Style Mascara

I've yet to try out any of the items, but from the other good reviews I've read online, I'm really excited and looking forward to try it out.

Will write a more detailed review for each item when there is time :) Ciao!

Dolly Wink's Eyeshadow Palette

Today, I just ordered Dolly Wink's Eyeshadow Palette #1 and I can't wait for it to arrive! :D

Just looking at the photo makes me all excited already!

I'm really a fan of Tsubasa Masuwaka's style and I was so happy when I finally found an online spree selling dollywink items! I can never seem to get them from Watson's because they are always OOS, so it was kind of a dream come true when I discovered the online spree ^^;;

Although I didn't really found any concrete good reviews on this product (I usually spend much time googling before I purchase a product), I just boought this one without much thought/consideration.

I sure hope it's a good buy!
