HUGE BACKLOG AND PICTURE SPAM AHEAD!Two weeks ago, my sis and I went to KBOX, so glad they got 4 KAT-TUN songs! Currently they have: Bokura no Machi, One Drop, Change Ur World, and White Christmas. Would be good if they actually had RESCUE and RIGHT NOW as well D: We sang NEWS' Fighting Man~ We even sang Arashi's Monster. And of course, Daite Senorita and Shuji to Akira's Seishun Amigo!
My sis caught a flu then, so I sang most of the songs ~ But she kept judging me about the english songs I sang, so besides Tokio Hotel's Hurricanes and Suns, and World Behind My Wall, I sang other random songs~ But the meal before the Karaoke session was good!
Xin Wang Cafe serves good food! Service was great too~ We asked to doggy-bag our food and they packed it really good that it didn't spill at all, except for the gravy in my mui fan. And oh, after many hours of being lost at Marina Square and the train ride back, the rice left in my porridge kinda disintegrated into porridge.

My mom sure treats me well during my examinations ^_^ Delicious pasta she whipped up!
One night before my examinations, my dad came back from China and bought me shoes!
Really touched, especially since the Converse sneakers were limited edition, and I think it looks very funky and hip, LOL! My early birthday present! ^_^

Despite during the examinations, I just couldn't keep my hands off my laptop, as well as the Great Blogshop Sales! Because of the GSS, lots of blogshops (mostly livejournal, lately I've been attracted to livejournal shops) are having up to 50% off! However, fastest fingers first! Most of them are sold out within 1 hour (those really hot shops), talk about quick!
Anyway, after much time picking (and hence losing choices to more decisive people out there), out of the many hit and misses, I have selected three of my favourite from different blogshops!
#1 - TCL Front Zipped Shorts in Navy
Review: Got it on sale for $15. Customer service for TCL was excellent. They reply and verify payment within 24 hours unlike some other blogshops. In case you're wondering what TCL is, it's The Closet Lover. The quality of the material is good, while the cutting is slimming and flattering around the waist, hiding my belly perfectly! A basic piece that goes well with any top, simple or complex. One of the best buy I've ever bought online. My only concern is that the zips might rust after multiple wash (since I foresee myself wearing it out often!). Came after my exams, added on to my happineess! ♥
#2 - Swivelle Eve of Love Frock in Grape Sherbet
Review: Got it from their latest collection for $28. I actually look decent in this dress, which is a HUGE ass improvement from all the other dresses I have ever bought online which make me look like a fat swollen dumpling. Material was excellent, and the design was really pretty. Comfortable to wear! Customer service was awesome; she replied to every enquiry real fast, and notified me of the registered article tracking number the day she mailed out the item, which a lot of blogshop owners don't actually do, since I think its a hassle to type in so many numbers since I think they mass mail out items after each collection. I asked her about ironing the pleats (very worried about them being gone) and she gave a concise answer ^_^ Very happy with this buy! I don't think I'll ever regret buying this dress :D It was the only joy in my stressful examination week!
#3 - MissyPixie Wynn Black
Review: Got in on sale for $14. Did I mention how much I love blogshop owners which are prompt in their reply? Basic piece again, and doesn't make me look too fat, though there is some excess cloth. Material is normal I guess, arrived within 2-3 days, opted for normal postage for this piece. Value for money - definitely; Will I wear it often - depends, hmmm...
*All photos of clothings credit to the blogshops. I haven't worn them yet, so no photos of myself in them yet!
I'm still eagerly awaiting new collections from:
Swivelle, TCL, LilyPirates, MissyPixie, ButteredGuns, AshInCans (if they will just reply to my enquiry, urgh!), and PiecesofSummer (they have super good CS too! my sis bought a dress from them, awaiting arrival). Flowerpod is like a shrine for LiveJournal Blogshops, reviews and updates galore!
Besides the three which I'm so in love with right now, I've got other items here and there from various random blogshops too, but most of them were rather disappointing, so I shall not mention them *sigh...* Blogshop items always look so good, but whether it is true, or not, is only answered when it reaches your mailbox. Some items can be so expensive, but the quality is crap, while some can be on sale, but the quality and the clothing is just so worth it.
I've been sick for quite some time now, but when I had a fever, my dad took our family out for ramen and I couldn't refuse! Went to Bedok Point, which was an absolutely BORING mall. Ate at bishouten or something like that. Not mindblowing/fantastic beyond my wildest dreams, so didn't make an effort to remember.
Rice green tea was first served, tasted weird, but I heard it's good for weight loss!
Drinking was super hard for me cause my throat was imploding then. My sister's seafood ramen (regular) came next!
Looks so oily, LOL! My sis somehow managed to convince me to get the mini ramen bowl, which I agreed. Must have been my fever, so I made such an irrational decision. Super not filling at all for a dinosaur like me!
The egg was good though! My mom's ebi don~
And my dad grilled unagi rice, I think..
My hand was trembling throughout the dinner, so photos aren't fantastic *disappointed at self* Did I tell you how much I love agedashi tofu?
A cute plate :3
Made a KALA card as well, and queued up hours to play an arcade machine, BUT some stupid kid just cut my queue, jumped on the chair and played away. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE? /rage; but I lost my voice and couldn't fight for my rights *sad*
Being super sad, I went to cheer myself up with yoghurt, which was the cause of my cough the very next day...

Yesterday, after examinations, I spent an hour at Pasir Ris library catching up on Celestial Zone X, ALONE. LOL! I guess I'm really a big fan of his drawing style (has been reading since Condo Heroes, to Celestial Zone 1, 2, the ESP one, and currently, the western scion one). I really love all of his books :) Glad the library have the entire collection! *spazzes* I borrowed 8 volumes of comics, which made my bag soo heavy! In fact, I finished all of them today \o/
Had a quick change of clothings and met my sister at Simei MRT platform. Glad to have a seat cause my bag was so heavy and it was killing my shoulder! We charged to MOF once we alighted at bugis cause we were SOOOO hungry! I hate it when they tried stuffing me and my sis into a tiny hole corner to eat, so we requested a change in seats, which they didn't look very happy about. They're service used to be great, what happened.
While waiting...
My sister's: Hot stone rice with Unagi flakes and Seafood Toji.
Mine: Hot stone rice with Salmon and Kinoko Butteryaki.
After the dinner, we proceeded to Watson's first to buy my Liese Iron Collection Rich Straight spray that was said to be good, before going to Bugis Street to search for my sister's shoes to match her dress for her friend's graduation party, but yielded no results. What a waste of time, shoes at Bugis Street are the same from one shop another, quite a small variety actually! Will try FEP soon...
Went to take a look at the arcade @ iluma, but because both our hands were hurting, we just decided to go back to Tampines Mall's arcade because there were no shooting games, or anything that interest us ):
Before we went back, I made a quick detour to STAGE, and realise it was still open! 80% sale was still on! How I wish they will still have the sale, or at least till I save enough to get the liquid concealer which I heard was really good! :D As the sales assistant was already packing, I hastily picked two lipsticks and a eye shadow blending brush, total was $21.50. Total savings? $37. Shocking? Make a trip down to STAGE yourself!
I swear everytime I make a trip down to Bugis, I will get something from STAGE, as long as it is still there. Hardcore!
I bought the WONDERLUXE lipstick in Lavender Love (for my mom, who was not content and demanded me to buy like, concealer and powder, and eyeshadow/whatever is left on the rack since it's so cheap) and Candid Coral for myself. A real pretty shade to go with my Sophia Lip gloss I bought the other time ^_^
*Colour not accurate in photos
It smells lovely, like vanilla, unlike MAC. Very happy with my purchase because I believe STAGE is better than MAC, just that MAC is more successful in promoting themselves as a international well-known label. I really hope STAGE stays in Singapore for as long as possible! T_T
Back at Tampines Mall after a longgg train ride, we rush to the arcade, only to find it closing after ONE Tekken 6 game. We wanted to play a round first before proceeding to our shooting game but too late, they shut down all the machines ))):
My sis asked if I wanted Texas chicken for supper, I should have said yes! I'm was hungry @ 2:00am yesterday night!
Off to cook grilled mushrooms with butter; copied it from the mushroom butteryaki I had yesterday. Ciao~
