2012 has been a really roller coaster ride thus far. There were really rough highs and lows, and I'm quite surprised I got through them without being too upset (at the lows, obviously). First we returned from Japan (high), I got a lousy promoter job (low), then I received my sucky A levels results (low), then I watched Wicked The Musical (high), and now I'm anxiously waiting for my university notifications when most of my friends had already received them (low). I'm thankful I quit my promoter job, and changed to being a temporary admin. I had to call @#$%^&^#%@$! number of people each day, till recently I was finally changed to data entry.Caption for the scary photo below: I wonder when my university application is finally going to arrive. I hope FASS lets me enter; if not, I'm going to appeal and appeal again till I do!

That lip gloss colour so does not suit me; I hate the sales person.
I also don't suit my new upper lashes I bought in Japan *bah!*
I intend to change my lower lashes to something more natural... soon.
Note to self: Hello, you ran out of eyelash glue, so please go buy some new one!
Anyway, I thought that since I'm feeling down now *boo! universities, please give me a sign~*, I might as well blog about happy things. And it'll be about... my long ago Japan trip which I really enjoyed and would like to go again. It's going to be a long and boring day-to-day recount since I want to remember every single details. And... it's image heavy, so you can skip it if it lags your computer!

I can't explain my joy when the day finally arrived. I mean, it has always been a lifelong dream to visit Japan, and finally, I had accomplished it.

Goodbye Singapore!

And hello Japan!

The flower arrangments are beautiful!

Buying a ticket...

A $25 ticket from Narita airport to Hamamatsucho (the area of where my hotel is located at). Say 'hello!' to my Dickies bag~

I know it is weird to post a photo of a toilet, but this is how clean a random toilet at Shibuya, one of the busiest train station in Tokyo, is. Just compare it to Singapore's toilet! =="
Okay, enough of the toilet talk!

My first meal in Japan @ a tiny cafe in Hamamatsucho. We were getting lost and hungry, so we deviated and decided to eat. Curry rice with beef *sighs...*
We arrived at Hamamatsucho Hotel Fontaine Villa. It was SUPER hard to locate this place because it is well-hidden behind tall buildings. On my way back from Tokyo tower to my hotel, I got lost for about 1 hour plus in the cold night winds. But before I rattle on on how ke lian I was, this is how small an average Japanese hotel is.

It's actually pretty neat, but it's around $140+/night with breakfast provided in the morning (kinda steep). But we couldn't find any hotels in such a short notice, so we can't be choosers. But I really enjoyed my stay there and will return if I could!

People are all at work, so there ain't much people around.

Oh guess where we're heading? 8D

Cutting through the park...

There is always time to take some photos~

Water, anyone?

Within minutes, it was actually turning dark!

Tokyo Tower, why so far?

Pretty flowers... But as the light available lessens, my photos get blurry. My camera just couldn't cope!

At 5pm, this was how dark it looked.

This is one of my favourite shoots! Tokyo tower~ The icon of Tokyo, Japan! ♥

An ancient water pumper! It works!

This is a temple that I'll be revisiting on another day...

We finally reached! ♥♥♥ I love all shots of Tokyo Tower!
We entered and the heater was really warm inside! I was really shocked at the vast difference in the temperature! First thing I did at Tokyo Tower - Food!

After ordering from the ramen stall, we got a beeper which would sound when our order is ready, so we wouldn't have to wait around the stall and clutter the spaces. Convenient, no?

My dinner, yum!

I got both ramen and 'char siew' rice! Hungry!

My sis had ramen in her bowl!
After that, we went to the mid-levels of Tokyo Tower.

Their theme was lovers or something like that, so their displays were all pink!

The employees helped us snap a photo as momento!

Sights from Tokyo Tower... Gorgeous!

They had 'clear windows' to look all the way down from @#%^$&%*^ metres off the ground. I loved it; but my sis with height phobias didn't appreciate it.

Their logo and mascots!

Their christmas display was still around (we went at 27 december), so we seized the opportunity and snapped much photos! After this, we waddled back, get blown by the cold winds, got lost (as mentioned previously) for near an hour (or more), but finally, we reached back to our hotel.
My eyes are starting to hurt, so I'm not going to edit any more photos, and hence, an abrupt ending. That's it for my Day 1 in Japan trip! Look forward to Day 2!
